As the year draws to a close, this is just a reminder to everyone that we will be starting a new Stockopedia Fund Challenge from 1st January 2010.
In order to be eligible for the competition, you will need to have started a Fund on Stockopedia before January 1st 2010 - if you already have a Fund, you will be automatically entered. If not, you can start a fund now by clicking here .
Performance between now and December 31st 2009 is not relevant for next year's competition, so new entrants can use this time to test strategies out and getting used to the interface... For further details on how to trade on the site, view the Trading Help page.
The rules for the 2010 Challenge will be the same as last year - see: http://www.stockopedia.com/help/challenge%20rules
The winner will be the Manager of the Fund that has the greatest percentage (not absolute) increase in portfolio value between 5:30pm on December 31st 2009 and 5:30pm on December 31st 2010. Barring an amazing sponsorship deal (you never know!), the top prize will be the same as this year - a flight for two to New York.
