Billions of dollars and hundreds of thousands of jobs are at stake in the oil and gas industry....based on one Decision on 4 Dec at the Opec meeting http://www.opec.org/opec_web/en/311.htm and http://www.opec.org/opec_web/static_files_project/media/down...

In more ways than one, who will the winners and who will be the losers?

For the December 2015 “>20%” monthly oil stock competitions, which oil stocks will have the greatest move for

(i) >20% gain?
(ii) >20% loss?

You may enter two stocks, one for (i) and one for (ii). More than one person may enter the same stock. The deadline for the December competition is midnight on Monday 30 November. Results will be posted on this thread asap after the month end.

Sentothegallows kept the faith with PANR which rose a further 74% in December. Considering the dearth supply of good news for the oil price at the moment, it was quite an amazing feat by PANR. Let's hope the flow tests do not disappoint. Congrats to Sentthegallows for winning the Dec >20% Up competition!!!

Looks like the market did not like the strategic retreat from the business in Norway and the delay in production start-up for the Solan field. Share price down 37% in December. Congrats to Wordbodger for winning the >20% Down competition!!!
