Just a quick note to say that we've created some new pages that are available from the top navigation. Under the 'toolbox' menu item you can find some new links to some 'apps' that have previously only been available on Stock Reports as popup windows - they are now available as stand alone web pages.

We've bundled the following Apps onto the page:

We have just launched the Montier C-Score which is a useful checklist of common accounting tricks that companies use to massage their earnings.  It can be used along with the Beneish M-Score to try and avoid stocks which have hidden nasties that might need to be paid off later with lowered earnings forecasts.

We plan on adding quite a few more apps into this section of the site, including an algorithm for checking Dividend Safety,  the Mohanram G-Score for highlighting/avoiding 'glamour' stocks and perhaps Beneish & Nichol's O-Score which is a level beyond the M-Score  (one day we'll have the whole alphabet in here!).  One day we may even let people code their own apps in this section.

Some of this stuff is pretty high-grade and of an institutional quality and never before available on the web.  There are lots of ways to skin a cat, but we do think these indicators are exceptional shorthands for analysing stock fundamentals.  You can isolate issues with company fundamentals so much more quickly using these indicators and the associated checklists.

The longer term goal is to make the Stock Reports more customiseable so that people can pick or choose which ratios/widgets/apps they want to see.... that will probably be available in 2013.

I hope they prove useful - please do let us know what you want to see in terms of site development and we'll see what we can build.  It's a bit like grown up lego and everything is possible !
