BHP BILLITON (BLT) is demerging South32 dividing existing company into two companies with South32 being admitted to trading 26.5.15. My BLT shares are with IWEB and Book Cost for each will be split according to the relative opening price on the effective date of the demerger. Entering these into Stockopedia Portfolio causes problems.

!. I can easily enter South32 as a new holding
2. I cannot adjust the revised BLT Book Cost of my various holdings so my results for BLT will upset my portfolio results.
3. South 32 has made application for admission to the Standard segment of the United Kingdom Listing Authority (UKLA) Official List and trading on the LSE. There are various conflicting comments as to whether these shares will qualify for holding in an ISA.
4. What happens if they are not, the shares will be in an ISA and not qualifying!

A. This problem of demergers has already created a similar problem with the demerger of Indivior (INDV) from Reckitt Benckiser (RB.) I am still at a loss as to how to adjust things.

Help!!!! Before everything gets too far out of order.
