Most of you will be aware that Ed Croft was a founder of Stockopedia and works tirelessly to help investors by providing such a brilliant low cost service that has allowed private investors like us to be on a level with the data provided to fund managers and city professionals.

However there is another side to Ed and when he is not slaving away he is keen to support his friends and I think that his attempt to cycle 300km to Paris within 24 hours in just eight days time is a perfect example of what Ed is all about. It is all for a very worthy cause and Ed tells the story in full on his own charity page here

For that reason I would really like to get behind Ed and support him in this very tough and demanding ride and make all the training efforts and 20 hours of non stop cycling worthwhile for both him, his family and friends at the charity itself. So....

Please join with me and make a donation....Any of you who are only able to make a small donation I will personally be happy to match so even a £10 donation will become £20 and with gift aid the charity claims the tax back too so it becomes £25 which is a big step towards Ed making his target.

However as a big incentive and bonus for all of us. Any of you supporting Ed with a £100 donation or above will automatically be invited at no cost to a big lunch I will be hosting to celebrate Ed and his charitable achievement and of course to talk about investing and Stockopedia too. That lunch will have some great investors and analysts at the tables including Paul Scott, Leon Boros, Lord John Lee and many other great speakers that have presented at my Mello events. It will be a free lunch and worth much more than £100 to keen investors so what an opportunity to help a very worthy charity and have a great day out in wonderful company

Once again....I think the markets have been kind to us for the last eighteen months considering what is going on in the world outside and so many are less fortunate than us. It is a great time…
