Education Development International, the qualification and educational assessment company, announced that it is purchasing its headquarters building, International House, for £1.8 million - using its existing cash. EDI has exchanged contracts on the building and expects to complete the transaction in the next four weeks. The company is currently renting the building, and the purchase is expected to reduce overheads on the P&L by £255,000 per year.
