Exactly which fundamental data does stockopedia provide?

I'm interested in viewing the raw fundamental data from UK company financial statements, both interim and annual. As far as I've been able to determine, the Stockopedia screener doesn't provide this information, and simply presents calculated ratios like P/E instead. Is this correct? Does anyone know how I can view the financial statement data without paying Bloomberg an absolute fortune?

Fundamental data for each company can be found in the Accounts section of each StockReport page

e.g.http://www.stockopedia.com/share-prices/diageo-LON:DGE/profit_loss/

PS I think Bloomberg is available only to investment professionals.

You will also find the link to each company's website on the Stockopedia Summary page. Most companies will have an investors section which will include a link to current and historic annual reports as well as other useful stuff such as investor/analyst presentations, major shareholder register etc.. Some are better/easier to navigate than others, in and of itself a reasonable indicator of the underlying company!

OK, thanks guys. The Thomson-Reuters financial statement data available on subs at Stockopedia seems to be more complete than the info you can get for free on digital look, or on other websites I've looked at.

I also had a look at Companies House. Unbelievably, they only provide scanned copies of company accounts. It seems they're still living in the last century.

Hi,

The financial statements data we provide on the accounts section of each StockReport (as mentioned by PJ0077) contains most of the information that a private investor is interested in looking it. We provide a full income statement, balance sheet and cash flow statement, for both interim and annual periods. The columnar format makes it easy to compare across a number of years. It is worth noting a couple of key points, though.

1 - The notes to the accounts, which are considered an integral part of the accounts, are not presented in the Reuters financial statements we receive. They are, of course, fully accounted for in the financial statements but are not disclosed separately on Stockopedia.
2 - All accounts are standardised by Reuters to fit one of 4 templates - Utility, Industrial, Bank or Insurance/Finance. This is what makes cross-company screening and comparison possible but it does mean that the accounts are presented a little differently to how you see them on the original document.

Because of this, if you are really looking to dig into the numbers, nothing can be a substitute for the real thing. The best place to source original accounts is, without doubt, the company's investor relations page, which you'll be able to find (along with a lot more!) through the company site links on each StockReport that gus 1065 kindly mentioned above.
