Immunodiagnostic Systems, the Newcastle based niche Diagnostics Company, announced a directorate change. Dr Anthony Martin has been appointed as Non-Executive Chairman and, as announced at the preliminary results, David Evans will stand down as Chairman and Director at the AGM on 8th September 2011.
Anthony Martin has more than 25 years experience in life science and biotechnology businesses both in the UK and USA, in both executive and non-executive roles. He is currently Non-executive Chairman of Sphere Medical Holding plc, Wound Solutions Ltd and Phico Therapeutics Ltd.
It is anticipated that his experience with UK and US investors will help as IDH grows into a larger company.
The IDH share price has increased by 64% over the last year.
