Intercede, the Leicester based supplier of identity and credential management software, announced that it has been approved as a United States Treaty Investor (E2) by the US Embassy in London. The company is now able to send qualified executives and employees who are UK citizens to work for Intercede MyID Inc., subject only to them meeting the requirements appropriate to E2 status. Intercede MyID Inc is a wholly owned subsidiary of the Intercede Group with offices in Reston, VA.

Last week Intercede also announced a US sales alliance with Oxford Computer Group LLC (OCG), a Microsoft Gold Partner for Identity and Security Solutions. They have signed a strategic partnership agreement to deliver PIV solutions to non-Federal organizations.

Furthermore, OCG have also teamed with Gemalto to extend the scope of this market offering to include the supply of smart card and associated components. Gemalto is already an Intercede partner.

The IGP share price has decreased by 6% over the last year.
