A programme of the two day event will be released on Friday but rest assured that there is something for everyone with company presentations as an added bonus and not just a few as there will be over 30 companies joining us in Peterborough with many presenting for the first time at an event. Ed Croft and the Stockopedia team will also be at the event and there will be a ShareSoc MasterClass taking place on the Friday afternoon so lots going on that will be of interest to all levels of investors

For those coming and staying for both days it is important to get your hotel room booked as the Bull Hotel and Conference Centre are linked but whilst the centre will hold 400 investors comfortably the hotel has only 118 rooms of which only 80 are guaranteed for our delegates. Minimising the impact of behavioural biases on your investment returns.

We all have made investment mistakes, and when we look back it’s often due to over-confidence or naively falling for a faddish investment theme. The truth is we evolved to evade predators and survive, not to make sound investment decisions - these thinking flaws are detrimental to our wealth. 3. How to build a stock screen

Why your time is better spent picking rules than picking stocks.

This is the perfect seminar to attend after having attendedWhat Pays Off and Why. I’ll show how easy it is to build a stock screen with ratios that work over the long term. We’ll discuss famous screening approaches, common problems with results, the best ratios to use and how to take the results of a stock screen and turn them into a portfolio.

It's going to be a hell of a scrap to get the content together in time - but with any luck it should be a fun and successful day !

Admission and 'Gold' tickets have been selling fast and we cannot increase capacity beyond 500. Each workshop will have limited numbers of places available and we know some will be incredibly popular when available to book. What is a Gold ticket? Gold tickets are available to guarantee seats at up to ten workshops each day and you can obtain them by clicking here. How do I book? The next ShareSoc Masterclass will be held on the Thursday of our event. Masterclass will start at 3:30pm and finish by 6:30pm, including a 30 minute refreshment break. The panel will consist of legendary blogger Paul Scott (“PaulyPilot”), Stockopedia co-founder & CEO, Edward Page Croft, small-cap investor and Mello founder, David Stredder and investment writer and investor Richard Beddard.

This is a ticket-only event and the price for ShareSoc Full Members (and members of their families) is £35 (£60 for non-members). Interesting that Avation (AVAP) will be presenting again. I shouldn't imagine that their FD, Richard Wolanski, would be flying in from Australia or Singapore simply for Mello. He did present at Mello 2014 last November and shortly afterwards they announced a refinancing deal and then, three months later, the deal with Flybe. I wonder what is on his agenda for this visit.

Jane, I think you will find that he is presenting at a Shares mag event in London on the same trip.

I was thinking rather of something on the finance or perhaps the commercial side, given that AVAP have announced they will be delivering 13 more planes by the end of 2016 and that this would increase operational assets by 61%. They also have further options on 22 more aircraft for 2017 and later. There ought, imo, to be deals in the pipeline.

Just arrived back from Peterborough and wanted to thank all the speakers, panellists and fantastic workshop hosts for a truly exceptional educational and inspirational two days.

On the opening day I said that we are all learning about investing every day and that an event like this helps to improve the environment in which we learn and encourages networking and helping each other. I think we achieved our aims and objectives.

I hope all of you that attended enjoyed the event and I think the follow through that is currently building momentum after the Thursday dinner speech by Clarke Carlisle will be incredibly positive and life changing for some and not just investors of course.
