This morning, NetDimensions (Holdings) Ltd (LON:NETD) , the e-learning and HR management software group said it was buying back the UK distribution rights to its Enterprise Knowledge Platform from fellow AIM company £IHP. The £464,000 deal will still allow Intellego to sell EKP, but NetDimensions will take on the bulk of the sales and support work – boosting its margins and UK profile in the process.

Stanley Gibbons Group (LON:SGI) , the stamp collecting specialist, said that first quarter trading was down on last year’s exceptional performance by 13%. Nevertheless, it insisted that all elements of its strategy, including website development, the launch of a rare stamp investment fund and development into the Chinese market, were all progressing in line with expectations to deliver profit growth in the medium and long term. Acquisitions could also be on the cards.

Irish miner Minco (LON:MIO) reported that the latest drilling work on its Pallas Green zinc-lead JV project in Co. Limerick had identified several new areas of mineralization. The drilling is part of a planned US$10m exploration programme for 2010, which will make it one of the largest exploration drilling programmes ever carried out in Ireland.

China Shoto (LON:CHNS) , the Chinese producer of industrial batteries and power supply systems, reported a16.1% surge in revenues to £212.57m last year, with pre-tax profit up an electrifying 117.1% to £25.07m. Chairman Yang Shanji, said the company would spend the rest of 2010 developing its overseas distribution network in order to cash in on the improving global economy.

Elsewhere, chemicals group Hydrodec Group (LON:HYR) saw its shares rise more than 22% to 8.25p on news that trading conditions and cash generation were improving, particularly in its core US market. The group – which recycles used transformer oil into Superfine oil – saw sales rise by 49% to US$10.4m while pre-tax losses were cut by 12% to US$13.6m.

Intandem Films (LON:IFM) has sold its Australian box office hit 'Beneath Hill 60' to UK distributor, Momentum Pictures, part of Canadian media group Alliance Atlantis. The film grossed A$1.7m in its first two weeks of release in Australia and now Intandem has turned its attention to the hard-to-crack UK market.
