Good morning! Here we go again, with another week of reports. I'm expecting it to get busier again soon, as we're coming into the reporting season for 30 Sep year ends, and of course half year results from companies with 31 Mar year ends. Generally speaking I think the reporting cycle in the UK is far too slow - good companies should run their accounts on an almost real time basis, with each month end being treated almost like a year end. That's how I used to do it in the 1990s, when running a retail group's finances, so it should be easier now, what with improved IT.

As usual, I'll start with announcements for companies which I hold in my personal portfolio. Lunatics on bulletin boards will tell you that this is all part of some terrible conspiracy. Please remember that these reports are essentially a Blog of my personal analysis of company accounts & trading statements, and a record of what action I take with my own personal portfolio. This is NOT a share tipping service - our ethos here at Stockopedia is all about DIY investing, hence why there's a strong emphasis here on explaining my rationale for liking or not liking particular shares, and screening out risk from simple Balance Sheet appraisal, etc. Also these reports are free to read, and to be blunt to my critics - if you don't like 'em, don't read 'em!
