As we start to get closer to the drilling of the Sliverback prospect due early June I thought this would be a good place to discuss the potential.
The Silverback prospect is (unrisked) 127mmboe with a 22% CoS
I will write up a more detailed header soon.
Volume today from 11.45 very high, is this just in anticipation of drill news, perhaps more to it than that ?

Hello,
I have been doing some research into DPL and I invested mid-May with a top up last Thursday I was wondering if anyone has any thoughts on the recent drop in SP with the spud approaching? As you can probably tell I am new to this, however the research I have done into similar companies tends to show a pre-spud SP increase.
Any thoughts/opinions will be gratefully received.

Dominion Petroleum, with assets in Central and Eastern Africa, was rumored in the press to be a takeover target for one of the majors given its relatively low share price. The company’s current market cap stands at GBP 90.3m.

One the face of it It seems we have had a seller for the best part of 3 months and he's taken todays positive news to sell a few more .
Really quite unusual in advance of a spud targetting 120m boe (with a consequent derisking of the whole area if its successful ).
All the more surprising that there have not been any RNS's indicating shareholding movements .

Great news for both Dominion & Soco.
I would expect to see this in an RNS over the next couple of days which could be helpful for the Dominion share price as the greater potential of the Lake Edward basin lies within the DRC also I believe the terms in the DRC are more favorable.

Dominion reports that the Ngaji-1 well was drilled to total depth ("TD") at
1765m; the results were inconclusive as it did not identify any significant
hydrocarbons. The well, the first ever drilled in the Lake Edward Graben, was
designed to test the geology of the basin and will see a full suite of logging,
coring and a vertical seismic profile will be acquired.
