It's been a huge few months at Stockopedia which have culminated in some big overnight changes that you may have noticed.   The team has been growing here and the impact is starting to bear fruit.     I'll update members further on what's happening at Stockopedia Towers in future, but for now I'll just update on a couple of bits of news:

Dotcom

Firstly, we are now officially a dot com ! It's taken us years to win the domain in auction and we've finally decided to make the switch. Please do update your bookmarks. All dot co dot uk web addresses will automatically redirect to the dot com, but you'll find loading quicker if you go directly. Using the dot com will help as we gradually internationalise and extend the reach of the website to the USA and Asia.

Fresh Designs

Secondly, we've 'soft launched' a new logo, and a fresh lick of paint to the website. We finally managed to find a wonderful designer Adam Collingburn who is already having a massive impact on the way things are presented here. Our goals are to make all rather highbrow stuff we do at Stockopedia very very accessible and easy to understand and Adam has the challenge of helping to communicate that both through design but also through an improved user interface / experience on the site. Over the next year there will be some big changes, but the Stockopedia experience you know and love will be preserved. Change can be annoying as we all get stuck in our habits, but I'm sure that everyone will appreciate it once the website is fully mobilised, tablet and mobile ready !

Stock Ranks on Stock Reports

You keep asking for this and now we've delivered.  There's a new box at the top of all Stock Reports with the Value Rank, Quality Rank, Momentum Rank and composite QVM Stock Rank.   The Growth Rank hasn't made it - due mainly to our backtesting results which show that growth isn't the best predictor of future stock market returns.  Don't worry we'll be making Stock Reports customisable in future so you can choose what is displayed, but for now we've edited it out.  I'll be discussing this at the London Investor Show tomorrow:
