I like to suggest that growing companies offer Infectious products that started as a really good idea which then spread like a virus, noting that ideas that spread like viruses are memes.
But this would not be the popular “junk meme” that most people think of, which should be better categorized as (non-coding memes). The type of meme I’m referring to is what I’d like to call genius memes. These are brilliant ideas that have observable physical characteristics expressed in the form of a product or service.
Like genes but unlike regular memes, genius memes face environmental and fitness pressures and not only survive but thrive, they provide instructions for their host organism/consumer on how best to metabolize the environment or, have that information embedded into their physical expression as a technology. So while genes have a phenotype genius memes have a phemo-type… its physical expression.
My question is.
If all products and services are genius memes spreading through a fitness land scape, what would be the advantages of this premise if any.
