I expect to be banned from here soon because Stockopedia will be asked by Sharesoc to ban me, (or Paul Scott) so I will say this now, but we need to help and support Tom Winnifrith against Aiden Ealey who is trying to shut down such a valuable free service by donating to Shareprophets fighting fund.

I asked @SharesocUk if they would help in the fight again this court action..

It seems that Roger has the support of ALL Sharesoc directors .. but although Roger thinks this is a laughing matter... I DONT!


New private investors face a huge uphill struggle to learn the stock market and it isn't helped by the high risk stuff reported on share_talk blogs or the bulletin boards of London South East, ADVFN etc.  

The last thing private investors need is bad opinions from the company dedicated to helping change legislation in order to protect the private investor further.   Yet one member Sharesoc director treats the Sharesoc platform for their own personal agenda.   Blogging often questionable opinions about individual high risk stocks and when getting it wrong simply doesn't apologise. I worry for new investors going to Sharesoc for advice and reading Rogers blogs.

Tom has protected the private investor more than any other

Roger has written his own opinion on Brexit , belittling those who voted differently.  and of some big risk stocks that failed using the Sharesoc platform.   THe is now wishing Tom to lose the court battle .   How on earth is that helping private investors?  Does Sharesoc really want to see Shareproohets closed down?  Who will then help in the fight against bad, dodgy, fraud stocks?  Is Sharesoc capable compared to the direct actions of Shareprophets?

I know the staff of Stockopedia support Sharesoc so I expect this post (and me) to disappear soon.  But one thing I want to say is that when I do something wrong, I admit to it and try to reconcile.  Roger is a disgrace to Sharesoc and should be fired.   Sharesoc should be about changing legislation to help and protect private investors.  This is happening but at what expense?
