I use Excel to track my equity and fund investments. One row per stock, number held, todays price, value, how much I invested, dividends received, profit or loss etc. Totals of relevant columns plus compare value now with what it was at 1st jan showing % gain or loss. You can add further rows for other investments like bonds or banks and do some calculations…
