You are warmly invited to attend our One2One Investor Forum on Thursday 12th August, where Nighthawk Energy (AIM: HAWK)and Strategic Natural Resources (AIM: SNRP) will be presenting.

We couldn't have picked a better time to book David Bramhill, the ebullient managing director of Nighthawk Energy. No fewer than seven would-be bidders have been shortlisted to buy a stake in the company's major asset, the Jolly Ranch project in Colorado. Perhaps we shouldn't be surprised given the huge popularity of shale oil in the US, particularly in the wake of BP's Gulf of Mexico disaster. Even so, we suspect the sheer weight of interest has surprised industry veteran Bramhill. Now's your chance to quiz him on the auction process and the prospects for Jolly Ranch, where Schlumberger is compiling a pivotal report proving up its reserves.

Strategic Natural Resources is another company with a very exciting tale to tell. The South African coal miner received two bid approaches last year, which suggest that in the Elitheni project it is sitting on something special. The results of the first stages of the feasibility study are by the company's own admission 'encouraging' as the resource base expanded by 55 per cent to 150 million tonnes. So there will be plenty to talk about when Jeremy Metcalfe presents the latest update on SNR's efforts in the Eastern Cape. Make sure you're there to hear him speak and to put your questions.

Our investor forums are completely free to attend - to register simply Click Here. The forum will be hosted at the Chesterfield Mayfair Hotel, and will commence at 6.00pm. Each company has approximately 30 minutes to give a short presentation and for Q&A.Following the presentations will be a complimentary bar and an assortment of the finest hot & cold canapés, giving you the opportunity to speak with the directors and other investors.

A short description on each of the presenting companies is below:

  • Nighthawk Energy Plc (LON:HAWK) holds substantial equity in four projects across the US mid-continent, all of which are operated by Running Foxes Petroleum Inc., Nighthawk's partner and holder of the remaining interest in each project. Of our four projects, three are either in production or at the development stage and we expect all of our projects to make material contribution to the value of the Company in the future.
