Oct 03rd 2013 - Edison Investment Research today published a report on Gold Road Resources entitled "First Sumitomo JV Gold Anomaly Identified". In summary, the report says:
Gold Road has announced two new anomalous gold-bearing trends, each extending more than 15km, in the Sumitomo JV areas at the Breelya-Minnie Hill Gold Camp. The gold anomaly is the first exploration find subject to the JV agreement and the longest trend identified so far in the Yamarna Greenstone Belt, raising the possibility of additional funding from Sumitomo in return for earning an interest in the project. FY13 results included a A$19.9m impairment charge related to a write-off in capitalised exploration costs due to a more conservative view on the gold price.
