Profile Summary

West African Minerals Corporation (West African) is an iron ore exploration and mining company. The Company is focused on the mineral exploration and development in two African regions, Cameroon and Sierra Leone. It is also engaged in the investment opportunities across all types of natural resource projects. The Company, through its 100% owned subsidiary, Compagnie Miniere du Cameroun SA, owns exploration licenses in Cameroon spanning the coastal regions near existing and developing ports, which includes the Sanaga permit near the Port of Douala and the Binga permit near the Kribi deep water seaport. In Sierra Leone, the Company has exploration rights to explore for minerals, particularly iron ore, over around five licenses totaling approximately 687 sq km (square kilometer). The Company’s subsidiaries include Ferrum Resources Limited, CMC Guernsey Limited, Ferrous Africa Limited, Tanziron Resources Limited and Ingwe Investments Limited.
