(i) >20% gain?
(ii) >20% loss?

Bit late, but I'll go for SOCO International (LON:SIA) for the +20% - just for a change.
in this case, with the results on Wednesday, there should be news regarding the potential special dividend (6p, my guess) and perhaps on the FDP in Vietnam.
The importance of balance sheet and low production costs should continue to move to the fore, with oil prices still weak and the majors struggling to cut costs enough to live within their means (ie within cashflow).
August turned out to be quite good month for oil prices and oil stocks!
HUR moved up further in August with a 62% gain. Expectation is high on the first of two wells being drilled. Congrats to Wordbodger for winning the >20% Up competition!!!
Latest flow rate from a recompleted well by LGO was not inspiring. The share price continues the downward spiral with a drop of 17% in August. Congrats to Edgar2 for winning the >20% Down competition!!!
