I have been looking for a way to get exposure to AI stocks for a while. Read about this EFT in AJ Bell's article on AI, WisdomTree Artificial Intelligence.
Trying to research individual companies is way outside my knowledge base so have made a small initial purchase.
Other options are Polar Capital Automation or Allianz Global AI, but for now an EFT is a way to get a feel for this developing tech area for me.
Any other suggestions would be of interest.

For a long term, less volatile play, you could look for opportunities to buy either Synopsys or Cadence Design Systems. These are the platforms that chip designers use to develop their architectures, including AI chipsets. Unfortunately, because of the low volatility relative to the semiconductor sector in general, these are rarely available at a discount. But they have been exceptional investments for many years and I see no reason for that to change.
AMD, owner of AI designer Xilinx, is relatively cheap today as its shares have been brought down by a slump in the PC market, where it is the lead supplier. But AI and data centre are strong sectors for AMD, which has delivered very strong returns over the last decade. Looks attractive on a two year view.
I own both AMD and Synopsys.
Deepmind - they created the AlphaGo Algo(s) and are owned by Alphabet, everything else is essentially noise.
My preferred (& cheap) picks & shovels AI play is #FDP / FD Tech.
