Thursday, May 09 2019 by

Air Partner are due to announce preliminary results today, but as yet there is no show. Given last years accounting debacle this does appear somewhat disconcerting. although of course there could be a perfectly reasonable explanation.

last year Finals were released at 17.35, and there was no issue with what they reported. Obviously these accounts were delayed due to the financial reporting issue which we know about. It could be that they will issue these finals after the market closes too. But this is not good practice. If you are going to do it - and allow investors time to digest them - then fine. Yet let investors know when you give notice of results. Otherwise when you say they will be released on the 9th, everyone assumes at 7am!

Thanks Harry and Edward
Given last years issues and the appointment of new auditors I would expect the accounts to be 'squeaky clean'. We shall wait to see. But as Harry mentions it is poor practice not to keep investors informed, as 7am is the expected posting time.

I rang up TBC at 0900 and received the same response as above. They were moderately reassuring. But I had sold some before that as I agree it is always rather concerning. Told them it was unprofessional.
