March 26th sees the return of ALPHA Investor Forum, this time running in Oxford at world-famous New College!
This is the fourth occasion that the event will run and Blackthorn Focus has recruited some top, top speakers and companies to the event.
Halma (LON:HLMA) is regarded as one of the UK's very finest companies. Dividends have been increasing for 39 years at an average annual increase of more than 5% in each of those years. They are just one of the companies you can hear from on the day.
Speaking at the event is super business leader John Booth. You may know John as Chairman of Maintel Holdings (LON:MAI) the AIM-quoted telecoms provider that has been increasing its dividend for the last twelve years. John famously sold Link to ICAP for a maximum consideration of £250m. He is one of the most accomplished business people on the board of any UK-quoted company and has some fantastic business insights that we can all apply to our investing.
Another famous speaker is Andrew Lyddon of Schroders. Andrew is one of the team behind Schroders' brilliant 'Value Perspective' blog and part of a team managing approximately £13bn of assets. He is one of the UK's foremost professional value investors.
Also speaking at the event is David Cicurel of Judges Scientific (LON:JDG) and Peter Fitzwilliam, FD of Mission Marketing (LON:TMMG). I will also be presenting my '10 Most Up and Coming' AIM shares portfolio, up a massive 141% since being presented at the inaugural ALPHA Investor Forum in June 2016.
