Executive Summary
Alpha Strategic is a newly formed investment company whose primary objective is to acquire stakes in, and/or enter into joint ventures with, hedge fund management firms primarily using its ordinary shares as consideration. The Company intends initially to acquire minority stakes in European based hedge fund management firms which show strong historical returns and which the directors believe demonstrate good potential for growth. The group thus formed would be an active investor, acting as a holding company with a diversified and stable revenue stream arising from a variety of investment strategies. The directors would also consider the acquisition of majority stakes in such firms. Target companies will be sought with complimentary investment strategies, such that the portfolio of companies acquired should over time perform in a variety of market conditions. In the event that no investment has been made within 12 months of admission then proposals will be put to shareholders to either continue the pursuit of acquisitions or to return capital to shareholders. The directors have general experience in the hedge fund industry and the financial services industry.
