FS,

Could you perhaps amend the thread header to Aminex:TA? That way, those who like TA can spot it immediately and post, whilst those who don't can walk on by.

There is also an existing thread on the USA assets so the query about the spud could/should have gone on there just to keep things tidy and in one place.

I think djprestons point was that it doesn't mention TA in the thread title, therefore people wanting TA might not find it, and people who don't want TA wouldn't avoid it - it was nothing to do with whether to have TA or not.

Absolutely.

No problem at all if people want to discuss the TA angle, just that the thread is a tad misleading and if the intention is for this to become the defacto TA thread then the existing title is inappropriate, woudl lead to those being interested in the TA angle missing it completely. It would also soon become dated due to the specific event mentioned.

Just trying to be helpful. BB's are great but having an organised approach to threads helps considerably in getting the maximum benefit.

So far the thread has 8 posts...two have charts. So why does that make it a TA thread?

Youve got to laugh.

Of those 9 (now 10) posts, 7 are discussing thread "decorum".

The start of the thread quickly moved to two charts that the thread starter put in and given that he is a "TA'er" it seemed logical that this was the way the thread woudl go - look at ADVFN for instance to see his wide spread use and reference to charts/TA.

Definately got to agree with you there. I think that an entirely new thread titled "The Decorum Thread" should be started to iron out these issues!

Not into TA myself but hey ho, each to his own.

The 11.5p 'target' of last August can't be compared to 11.5p today as we have had a significant fund raising recently. Worth a mention I'd have thought.

FWIW I hold AEX.

That's an interesting post on iii, but IMO it'll be best to post fundamental analysis on other threads on this site, to leave this thread exclusively for technical analysis of Aminex. I'm not saying there's anything wrong with TA, it's just it seems best to keep it separate.

I think it was mentioned, we may see people using their new ISA allowance to Top Up with Aminex AEX Shares this week.

With all the new drilling expected in the next three months, I think this could be a good bet, as mentioned in IC as a BUY. IMHO

Most of the comment by Brokermandaniel is recycled low level filler. The one bit that isn't is simply inaccurate. Aminex does not have producing assets in Tanzania.

Do people really read this guff without recognising it fo what it is? It is guff. Pure and simple.

Re brokermandan - not only do they read it but his comments often move prices quite significantly. I'm afraid his site has become a bit of a self-fulfilling prophecy. I'm not sure how he got quite such a following but he has. I assume he is laughing all the way to the bank now as all he has to do is buy before one of his tips are out.

I wondered why AEX moved the way it did yesterday and then spotted the B word which does nudge the sp. At least he advises some research. It must be nice to recommend a share and see it go up almost immediatly, perhaps he is Tom Winfrith in a devilish mood?

Well hopefully he can nudge it up further imv.Along with AST this has been my worst Oil investment over the last few years. One can't expect every E&P to be successfully however and thankfully I've been invested in EO,NPE, FPM, and Soco which have all performed far better.

Am personally looking for an exit on any SP strength - You'll be pleased to hear that DJP!
