Any interest in a Belfast meet up for fellow PI's?

I have toyed with the idea of trying to organise a gathering of fellow PI's somewhere in Northern Ireland, probably Belfast.
At this stage it won't be anything fancy, I suspect just a gathering of like minded investors over dinner or the like, where we can bounce ideas off each other or pick other people's brains.

Just throwing the idea out there to see if there are any takers. If not, or people are happy to plow a lone furrow, fair enough.

If people are interested please comment and we can take it from there.

It did happen and we have met 3 times since November. Because of Covid 19 obviously not meeting again at present.

We have a whatsapp group, (open only to whose in Ireland please, both North and South) and also have a look at InvestorJohn on Stockopedia . He also has a blog of his own where our challenge results are posted monthly.

Very diverse group of up to 8 at present. Some Sharesoc members and most are long term investors

Just a quick bump for this thread in case anyone is interested in joining our group.

We currently meet once a month via Zoom, but hope to meet up in person if/when lock-down restrictions permit.

We are a fairly laid back group and include all sorts from 'traders' to more long term 'investors'.

Anyone who is interested drop me a line. It appears some people struggle to DM and Stocko doesn't seem to alert me when messages are posted in here so Twitter may be the best place to get me. My handle is @Jeremy_rea

I initially expressed interest when this was first posted, but have missed any follow up and didn't realise you'd already gone ahead on Zoom. You don't seem to let people DM you in Twitter, so that's not working either :-(

Andrea. had our first meeting back on 20/11/19 and fairly regularly since. Sorry our publication of meetings etc has been poor...but we do keep minutes etc. I have followed you on twitter for some time. Our next meeting is planned for 20.00 on 15th June so would be delighted to send you an invite, if you wish.
