Anyone else experiencing problems with the app? When I use the search function the app crashes and I am logged out.
I have reinstalled it, I have a modern phone (Pixel 5), but it's not fixed the problem.
Have contacted the admin team but they haven't been able to shed any light and have suggested it is possibly a problem with my phone - which it may well be but I just wondered if anyone else had experienced this and maybe solved it?
Probably similar to the issues I'm having with the new site. I don't use a phone so can't comment on that. Helpdesk say it's my system.
Is there an app? I thought it was a website, it is on my (Mac, iOS) devices. So what did you reinstall? I know the website is called app.something and it irritates me because it isn't an app.
The being logged out part sounds like a separate issue, websites shouldn't delete cookies on a simple crash and a knowledgeable developer should have a decent idea why this is happening.
The usual advice is ensure you are fully updated, run a virus check, delete all browser caches and cookies and try again. Then try a different browser. Deleting caches and cookies works a lot of the time, it is the equivalent of "have you tried switching off and on again?". Sometimes crashes leave rubble behind which confuse things the next time you try to run.
Though Google are better than most, Android is in general appallingly supported, if it is an Android issue you are out of luck. If doing the above still has you crashing then use the bubble at bottom right and report the problem in as much detail as you can, i.e. device, OS version, browser version and what steps to reproduce the problem.
Don't be fobbed off. If there isn't a compatibility list then saying "it's your phone" for a modern device and current OS isn't good enough, I'd counter with "it's your lack of testing".
