Ashton Penney is a leading specialist interim management solutions company, principally providing interim managers at or near board level on a nationwide basis and throughout Europe, covering all sectors and functions. Ashton Penney was established in 1994 and following several successful years, incurred losses in 2003 and 2004 primarily as a result of the retirement and departure of key fee earners. During 2004, the current chief executive, James Wheeler, assumed operational control of Ashton Penney and subsequently in April 2005, Ashton Penney was acquired by the Company. Following completion of the acquisition of Ashton Penney by Ashton Penney Holdings, the Company has recruited a new senior management team to support James Wheeler and has adopted a revised business model.
