Executive Summary
Asia Resources plc is a newly incorporated company that has been established by the Directors to utilize their contacts and experience in order to establish, invest in or acquire assets, businesses or companies in the precious metal industry, located in Asia, Africa and Europe. The Directors intend to identify businesses or companies, primarily in the gold industry, located in Asia, Africa and Europe, that they consider to have the potential to produce a favorable return in both the short and medium terms. The Directors might also consider investment opportunities involving other precious metals, but will not actively seek them out. Acquisitions and investments will be funded with a mixture of cash, equity and possibly debt. The Directors intend to be active investors and monitor closely any investments and/or acquisitions made by the Company. The Directors will appraise opportunities that meet the following criteria: * Structural competitive advantage; * Ability to generate revenue streams with significant growth prospects; In the event that no substantial acquisition is made within 18 months of Admission, it is the intention of the Directors to convene a meeting of the Shareholders to consider whether to continue seeking investment opportunities or to wind up the Company and distribute any surplus cash back to Shareholders.
