Brinkley Mining plc's wholly owned subsidiary, Western Uranium Pty Ltd, is a South African based exploration company that was established for the sole purpose of securing opportunities in southern Africa in advanced uranium projects that were able to demonstrate a significant mineralised potential of U3O8. Western Uranium owns the freehold of Waterval Farm and has option rights to purchase a further four other farms with an aggregate area of approximately 42,000 hectares near Beaufort West in the Karoo Uranium Province in South Africa (the \Properties\). Western Uranium has filed applications for prospecting rights for uranium and molybdenum over portions of these Properties with the relevant South African Licensing authority. The Directors are not aware of any reason why the applications will not be successful however, no assurance can be given at this stage that the applications will be granted.
