British Polythene Industries PLC (BPI) is the largest manufacturer of polythene film, bags and sacks in Europe; with manufacturing capacity in excess of 350,000 tonnes p.a. BPI is also the largest recycler of polythene waste, having pioneered recycling techniques for processing a diverse range of scrap materials ranging from agricultural films to post-use stretch films.
BPI operates in all private and public sector markets, supplying a wide range of packaging films and bags on a global scale. In the food sector BPI products are used throughout the growing, processing and retailing cycle with speciality agricultural films used to protect young and tender crops, BPI's range of printed films and bags are supplied throughout the food processing and packer/filler sectors, with our stretch and shrink films used to ensure secure and safe product distribution to the end user. Similarly, throughout the non-food, industrial and manufacturing sectors our wide range of polythene films bags and sacks are extensively used to pack, promote and protect our customers' products.
