Didn't flag share price disaster or did miss something?
Checked frequently and CLLN was in "safe" zone in portfolio !
For that matter it still is?
Where did I go wrong?
Just prior to the July profit warning, the StockReport looked like this:
http://reports.stockopedia.co....
The Stock rank score (57) was being supported only by a cheap valuation (V=95). Even within the valuation metrics, there were warning signs:
e.g. price/FCF 22.3x
e.g. negative tangible book value
The experience of Carillion (LON:CLLN) is a great learning point for what can happen in a downturn to a cyclical company with no moat & a weak Balance Sheet. We have been warned!
