Cello was founded in May 2004 with three platform companies: Insight Research Group, The Leith Agency and Target Direct Group. Together, the Group provides leading-edge client solutions in market research, brand development, direct marketing and database management. The Group has subsequently acquired Navigator Responsive Advertising, a leading direct marketing agency based in Edinburgh and most recently Leapfrog Research and Planning, a leading consumer market research and planning shop, and The Value Engineers, a premier brand and marketing consultancy. In August 2005 the Group was further enhanced by the acquisition of RS Consulting Group an established market research and business consultancy.
