China Shoto is one of China's leading companies engaged in the research & design, manufacture and marketing of lead acid batteries, power supplies and energy-related business, whose products have been widely applied in the field of telecommunication, railway, financial services, electric power, electric bicycles, UPS, photovoltaic system and wind energy storage system. It is the largest supplier of back-up batteries to China’s telecommunications operators. 

China Shoto's single largest shareholder is Two Stars Invest Ltd, which owns 65.90% shareholdings of the company.

China Mobile, China Unicom, China Telecom, Huawei Technology, ZTE Corporation, Indus Tower, Reliance, Airtel, Eltek, Emerson Network, GE, Nokia and Siemens etc., are among China Shoto's clients. 

The Company continues to maintain sales offices in India, Singapore, Dubai, Russia and Germany, and it also believes that significant opportunities exist in emerging markets such as Vietnam, Indonesia and South Africa.

Shoto Brand GFM series VRLA battery is the latest product developed by Shoto. This product can be broadly utilized as backup power supply for communication and signal systems such as telecommunication (China Mobile, China Unicom, etc), railway and vessels etc., as the energy storage system of solar and wind power generation, and as the backup power supply of UPS and for emergency illumination.

China Shoto operates from extensive modern facilities in Jiangyan City which is in Jiangsu Province, some 220 kilometres from both Shanghai and Nanjing, and has a large research and development facility in Nanjing.

 China Shoto has been established the Sci. & Tech. development academy and post-doctoral workstation, and cooperated with ten plus famous domestic universities and China Academy of Science etc., in the fields of product developing, technical innovation and talents training etc.
