Executive Summary

Chromex Mining plc is developing a chromite mine at Mecklenburg, Limpopo Province, South Africa. Through its 74% subsidiary it holds prospecting rights over Chromite deposits comprising the LG6 and LG6A chromite reefs, which outcrop at surface at Mecklenburg. These reefs form part of the Eastern limb of the Bushveld complex. Chromex has commissioned a Bankable Feasibility Study (\BFS\) and assuming successful completion of this BFS and subject to raising mining finance it intends to be in production by the end of 2007. The longer term strategy of Chromex is to increase its presence in the chromite mining sector through acquisitions using the cashflow derived from the Mecklenburg chromite mine.
