Executive Summary
Clean Energy Brazil plc is an investment company, which offers the opportunity to participate in the prospective growth in the Brazilian sugar and bioethanol sector. CEB intends to invest in integrated sugar and bioethanol production units in Brazil thereby giving investors exposure to: * Brazil's domestic bioethanol market; * the global sugar market; and * future growth in global bioethanol demand. CEB intends to invest in existing production units via joint venture partnerships and also to acquire greenfield sites and subsequently bring in partners with which to work. CEB has entered into an agreement in relation to an initial investment opportunity into an existing sugar/ethanol group (joint venture) and has secured two exclusive acquisition opportunities (joint venture and greenfield). Temple Capital Partners Limited (whose founder shareholders are C. Czarnikow Sugar Limited, Agropecuaria Orlando Prado Diniz Junqueria, Numis Corporation PLC and Econergy International plc) will act as investment adviser with responsibility for originating, appraising and presenting investment opportunities. Investment decisions will be solely at the discretion of CEB. CEB has a board of six non-executive directors with a diverse range of experience. It is initially proposed that CEB will have a life of ten years.
