It has a network of more than 100 independent insurance brokers to which it provides services including marketing, access to market, compliance assistance and brand awareness. In addition, it offers retail insurance via its general broking arms, wholesale Lloyd's facilities, a Lloyd's broker, underwriting capacity from major UK insurers via its subsidiary underwriting company and financial services via its subsidiary financial services company. Cobra has developed a number of new niche products and solutions for both its agents and own clients. Whilst the majority of business is UK-based, the wholesale Lloyd's broker offers services to North American clients via US intermediaries. The Group has expanded over the last year due to both organic and acquisition growth.
