I would never respond to any cold call, but in particular anything to do with investments.
Always avoid for me.So many 'pig butchering' and investmant scams around nowadays.Even excluding crypto and they're becoming much more technologically sophisticated than the old boiler room phone scams.I wouldn't even look them up online and call back as it's probably a scam number and cheap website.If they're a 'boutique', relative;ly unknown investment shop like George Osborne works for now, they won't contact me as a minnow investor with less than millions in fungible assets.And if they have a 'great investment' that i can't research and buy myself on a regulated, well known platform, why would they offer it to me and not just take it all themselves.
Fisher Investments offer advice rather too enthusiastically through social media on my feeds. Don't like their techniques or approach at all. Stockopedia strikes me as the best advice I've had in a while.
