Ed Balls has been delivering a much-covered lecture at the LSE today
The Spectator's blog has published a point by point critique of Balls' comments by Fraser Nelson. I'm not generally a fan of Nelson - but on the topic of Balls he seems robustly accurate. Balls is an ambitious, dangerous megalomaniac - and, like all good propagandists, is happy to distort the truth in order to make his case to the masses. Such "inaccuracies" must be pointed out before he knives the innocuous Ed Miliband in the back......
....though I see from the FT report on the lecture that Balls' attempts to "win at all costs" are increasingly attracting well-deserved derision. :-)
