Aveva (AVV) share price fell from approx £29 to £19 in early 2018. Do take a few moments to google the price graph/share chart and check on this price movement on any of the other financial sites. However this isn't shown on Stockopedias chart . Can someone explain to me what I am missing here please or are they using the wrong chart ?
I believe this was to do with the "Schneider Electric to take a 60 per cent stake in the fully diluted share capital of the Enlarged AVEVA Group, which will remain listed on the London Stock Exchange."
Stockopedia have revalued the shares to give an more accurate representation. I do hate it when brokers etc don't adjust the share price to take into account share splits etc. Shareholders did not lose around 35%, in fact there was a cash pay-out as well. I think Stockopedia chart is pretty accurate.
