ContentFilm Plc creates and distributes filmed entertainment. John Schmidt was the co-founder of October Films, an independent film studio which became part of Universal Studios and USA Networks. He was formerly the CFO of Miramax, and holds an MBA from Harvard Business School. The activities of the combined company are: Film production and financing; International sales of distribution rights in films owned by ContentFilm and third parties; Theatrical distribution in the UK; Licensing and merchandising of children's television properties.
