Any recommendation for a good database for ETFs nominated in GBP? I did some search via google but the usual candidates (e.g. etf.com, etfdb.com, etc.) do mostly provide information only related to USD or EUR nominated ETFs.

http://tools.morningstar.co.uk/uk/etfscreener/default.aspx has a currency filter.
(Though it may be misleading, it seems in some case there's a GBP ticker, but the underlying instrument may not be in any shape or form in GBP, it's just that forex costs are included in the spread, which may or may not be cheaper than using a broker's forex facility on the main listing.)
