I don't think it's possible (let me know if it is) but it would be great if we could set up alerts based on dates or (even better) events.
E.g. you have something on your watch list and you're waiting to see the next set of results. It would be great if you got an alert (ideally a few days before) to say results are due soon so you can do a quick bit of catch-up research before they land.
I appreciate it's easy to do in a calendar but I like all my alerts to be in one place.
I’m not sure whether your “easy to do in a calendar” is the same idea as what I do, so here goes.
I used the information in this link http://ideas.stockopedia.com/knowledgebase/articles/245453-do-you-have-a-downloadable-event-calendar to setup a calendar for all my stocks in one of my portfolios. I then shared the iCal calendar with my iPad calendar and set it to use a different colour so that all Stockopedia events are distinctive from my personal calendar events. Hope this helps.
