Ultrasis has announced good results - for the year ended 31 July 2008, sales grew 66% to £2.6m while pre-tax losses halved to £343,000 from £689,000. But is it sustainable? The idea of "computerised cognitive behavioural therapy for depression, anxiety, and other stress related conditions" sounds fine but it seems that what we are really talking about is a CD called Beating the Blues to help patients suffering from mild to moderate depression. Is that really a differentiated product that will outlast competition? Not clear that there's much else in the arsenal either.... Anyone have any thoughts?
