Leni Gas & Oil plc is a newly incorporated company that has been established by its shareholders to identify and acquire a number of projects in the oil and gas sector with particular emphasis on projects that are in production or with previously explored hydrocarbons. Such may be acquired by direct investment, or by acquiring all or part of an existing or newly formed company or business; in each case, the Company intends to be an active investor. The Company will focus primarily on investment and acquisition opportunities in Africa, North America, South America, Australia, Asia, including the Indian sub-continent and Western Europe. On Admission, the main country of operation for the Company is the United Kingdom. The Directors consider that the gas and oil sector represents an attractive area for investment. The proposed investments may be in companies, partnerships, joint ventures and earn-in joint ventures or direct interests in oil and gas projects. The Directors intend to focus on projects with strong operating cash-flows at an early stage, but will also seek to have an exposure to exploration projects. They believe that significant acquisition opportunities exist and that they have the contacts, experience and expertise to exploit such opportunities.
