In the US last night, the DJIA gained 53 points at 11,045, the Nasdaq Composite was unchanged at 2,472 and the S&P500 added 8 points at 1,191.
In Asia today, the Hang Seng ended the morning ahead 1.02 points at 20,950.42. Crude oil traded at $83.14 a barrel on Nymex.
