I was scratching my head this morning unable to get a quote for Anglo Pacific…
Turns out that as of today, their name changed to Ecora Resources (New Ticker: LON:ECOR).

Yes l wonder what this new name was in my folio. I see all the information has been wiped off Stockopedia.
Stocko don't seem to have a proper process for handling a name change. This has been pointed out to them several times in the past but the problem persists, so must be a choice they have made.
In general I am a great supporter of Stockopedia. I value the data and the way it is presented and the Stockranks system is quite brilliant but on this particular issue they have failed dismally.
I agree, why can't they just change the name? All the news before the name change, is lost, I had that on PhotoMe. Had several shares disappear recently as well such as Daniel Thwaites (OFEX:THW), it is back now but was lost for about a week, several others were also, folio was showing -100%, click on Stockreport and just get 404error message, this has only started happening recently.
When one of my stocks changed name, Stocko said "The transition usually takes 2-3 days on our site" which it did - all seems to be there that I've noticed except the stock rank that only goes back to changeover day on the chart.
Which share?
When you say that all seems to be there, does the news tab link to all the "old" news? Does the stock report include the index membership? Is the volatility correct? I use these features and when they are not there or are wrong it affects me.
The news has gone, if you look ME International (LON:MEGP) you will see there is only one article, all the previous articles have gone.
The directors dealing information has all gone as well and there was a lot.
As I say why not just change the name and ticker?
