This is a public service broadcast on behalf of the always fine and sometimes upstanding chap known elsewhere (and occasionally lurking here) as KingMcKong.
Those who have been "roaming in the gloaming" of their PC monitors for some years will already know of the annual gatherings of virtual investors that KingMcKong has convened in the Port of Leith, Edinburgh.
Hitherto these have been the province of motley Fools but, in recognition of deserters and sundry lurkers who now inhabit Stockopedia as their preferred discussion boards, KingMcKong has kindly extended his invitation to the upcoming evening event on November 3rd to any Stockopedes who can arrange to be in Edinburgh on that date. And for greater convenience on this occasion, he has arranged a dinner location a short stagger from Haymarket station, near Princes Street.
In order to avoid confusion, it would be best to respond in the thread set up for this purpose elsewhere but, if more convenient, you can send an email message via Stockopedia to KingMcKong directly, by putting his username in the Stockopedia email form.

The cost will be £25.95 for three courses plus coffee/tea, with a choice of four dishes from each course, and orders taken on the evening, rather than in advance.
The establishment has a wine list but also operates a BYOW policy, with corkage of £3 per still wine. The nearby Oddbins will deliver free of charge in time for the white wine to be chilled, so I'm inclined to order half a dozen of each (or perhaps more) subject to numbers.
