Engel East Europe N.V. is one of the leading developers of residential and mixed-used properties in Central and Eastern Europe. Key strengths of the company are a highly experienced management team and its ability to identify high quality opportunities in fast-growing Central and East European markets which offer excellent investment returns. Currently, the company has projects under development in Poland, Czech Republic, Hungary, Romania, Bulgaria, and Serbia, with future expansion plans in Central and Eastern Europe.
The Group is currently involved in the development of approximately 10,000 residential units in aggregate. These residential projects are in various stages of development. In addition, the Group is in negotiations to purchase land for the development of several thousand additional residential units, throughout the CEE Region.
The Group focuses on sites that are either in major urban areas, or within commuting distance of them. The Group’s strategy is to target its developments primarily at the local, middle class sector of the population, which it believes represents a stable market with long term growth potential, especially because of the CEE Region’s emerging market status and the recent or anticipated accession to the EU of many of its member states. The Group is led by an experienced management team, which between them have more than 50 years’ experience in the real estate industry.
